NON-ATONS EVENTS

(These event listings are provided as a service to the leather community. The Atons of Minneapolis are not responsible for these events.)

Mr. Marcus Memorial Beer & Soda Bust
Saturday, November 21, 7pm - 10pm @ Minneapolis Eagle
As you may know, Mr. Marcus left us on October 8, 2009. He left us in body, but his spirit will live on as long as we all remember him. He was best known as a columnist for the Bay Area Reporter, covering the Leather and GLBT communities.

To honor Mr. Marcus, we will be having a Beer and Soda Bust at the Minneapolis Eagle from 7-10pm. The cost for the event will be $8.

Come out to raise a glass, show your support and maybe share in a story or two.

All of the proceeds will go to the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco to support the cataloging of the 38 years of Leather and GLBT history that Mr. Marcus has left to the Leather Archives and Museum in Chicago and the Gay and Lesbian Museum in San Francisco.

North Country Bear's Beer Bar Night @ The Bolt Underground
Saturday, November 28, 7pm - 10pm (4th Saturday of each month)
Visit the North Country Bear's web site for more information.

It is five minutes from downtown, with the Metro Transit Bus route just a block away, and 2.3miles from the U of M Minneapolis. Great eating spots within walking distance: The Sample Room, Psycho Suzi’s, Mill City Cafe and more. Amenities include digital cable (with HBO), Wireless Internet, new stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, new deck with large gas grill, fenced in back yard, new hard wood floors, fresh paint and oak wainscot in bedroom. Roommates split chores in shared spaces. Please note, I have a medium sized dog and a very friendly cat if you have pet allergies.

If you have any questions, or would like to meet and see the place, please contact me at 612-239-2055. Please pass along this e-mail to friends. They might know about somebody that is looking for a place. Thank you.
