Pandemic Update

All of us in the Atons hope that our members, associates, and friends are safe and healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic. At our April Atons teleconference meeting, we discussed what this crisis means to our club.

It is hard to be a social club during social distancing. Because we can’t foresee when it will be safe for us to gather again, we have paused all plans for any social events through at least the end of summer. This pause means no L&L dinners, no Cigar Smokers, and no EROS party. We also anticipate other more significant leather events rescheduling for the fall that may conflict with our dates. Unfortunately, this means that we have canceled our plans to host a leather run in September.

As a result of our decision to not host any social events for the foreseeable future, we have reduced our membership and associate dues to $0 until such time that we can resume hosting social events. Any member or associate dues already paid will be prorated.

We look forward to seeing all of you again soon when it is safe to do so.

Yours in leather,
Andrew Bertke
President, Atons of Minneapolis
