What we collect, and why
Flashmail sign-ups. Your email address, and anything you choose to add (name, ZIP code, membership status, interests), so we can send you our monthly events newsletter. Our email list is kept in Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe or update your details any time from the link at the bottom of every Flashmail.
Tickets and RSVPs. Your name, email and the number of tickets, so we can keep the list at the door and send your confirmation. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Membership applications. The answers you give on the Associate or Pledge application, which go to the club officers to review your application. They’re kept in the club’s private Google Drive.
Emails you send us. If you write to info@atons.net or another club address, we keep that conversation to answer you.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell, rent or trade your information.
- We don’t use advertising trackers or sell ads on this site.
- We don’t share our member, ticket or mailing lists outside the club, except with the services named below that run them for us.
Services we use
- Mailchimp (Intuit) for the Flashmail list.
- Stripe for card payments.
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive and Sheets) to keep applications and door lists and to send confirmations.
- DreamHost hosts this website.
Each of these has its own privacy policy for the information it handles.
Videos and links
Some pages include YouTube videos, shown in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode: YouTube doesn’t set tracking cookies until you press play. Share buttons are plain links; nothing is sent to Facebook or anyone else unless you click one.
Photos
We post photos from club events. If you’re in a photo on this site and would like it removed, email info@atons.net and we’ll take it down.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page.
