Another Pride month has come and gone in the Twin Cities, and we made sure it was full of leather. The Atons worked alongside Minnesota Leather Pride and many of our fellow Twin Cities leather organizations to fill the week before the Twin Cities Pride Festival with events.
During the festival, Atons members who also serve on the MNLP board helped set up, host, and tear down the MNLP community booth. Additional Atons members and associates staffed the booth twice over the course of the weekend, talking with the community about upcoming events, our “Mount Olympus” leather camping run, our monthly bar nights, and Leather Closet.
On Sunday, the Atons fought through wind and rain to reach the Twin Cities Pride Parade, where we helped lead and carry MNLP’s giant Leather Pride Flag. Our members have been instrumental in carrying the flag for over 28 years.
